These committees provide the labor of love to those who need a "helping hand."  These committees are the backbone of this organization.  Each committee works enthusiastically to qualify families, assist the families through construction, building the home, informing the churches of our needs, informing the public about Habitat, finding new property to build more homes, and much, much more.   If you are interested in joining any of these committees, contact the Habitat office at 255-9850. Home Construction	Chair: Bob Stratton and Dale Moore
To coordinate labor, plans, materials and family interests to build the finished product, "a simple, decent house in a decent community for God's people in need."
Faith In Action Committee	Chair: Rebekah Zeck
To cultivate Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County's relationship with local churches, seek Covenant Churches, and maintain ties to currently involved churches.
Family Selection	Chair: Shelby Kendall and Jean Gauley
The committee organizes and carries out application, interview, and selection processes. We find the families who fit the criteria of need for shelter, ability to make no-interest loan payments, and ability to partner with Habitat for Humanity.
Public Relations	Chair: Melissa Bashara
To continually improve the community's awareness of our work, recognize our participants, and encourage new donations of time and materials so more people have simple, affordable housing.
Site Selection	Chair: Craig Ginter
Identify potential sites based on: availability, appropriateness, suitability, and acquisitions criteria. If you have property that you wish to donate, please go to the Donate Land section of this web site.
Family Support	Chair: Sonya Rassmussen
Family Support assists the selected family partners in completing the requirements for obtaining a Habitat home.  This includes helping families complete the sweat equity hours through volunteer opportunites, home ownership classes, and continued partnership with this organization after they have received their home.
Board of Directors	Chair: Aaron Miller
The Board of Directors is the decision-making body that governs and directs the mission to provide housing to those in need.
