Donate a car to Habitat's "Cars for Homes" Program

Your car donation can help a family build a house, and the hope of a better life!  There are two ways to donate:  locally through our ReStore by calling (970) 253-0858 or through the national CarsForHomes site found at www.Habitat.org.

Car donations help Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County build homes in partnership with families within our community!  Plus, donating a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle is quick, easy, and your car donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or your tax advisor for details).  Additonally, these donations are eligible for Enterprise Zone donations which may provide you a state tax credit.  Check with your tax consultant about this type of donation.

We accept a majority of cars, trucks, boats, RVs and other vehicles with proper title and ownership information, and make the arrangements to have your vehicle, keys and title picked up for processing.  If your vehicle does not run properly, be sure to call 234-0508 for instructions or if it will be acceptable for donation.

Net proceeds generated by donated vehicle sales are used by Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County to build homes in partnership with families in our community.
